Manta Point
Year-Round Manta Cleaning Station
Located beneath limestone cliffs on South Penida. Watch Reef Manta Rays (4–5m wingspans) circle gracefully above cleaning rocks in shallow water.
Nusa Islands
Immerse in Bali's iconic Nusa islands marine realm. Swim alongside gentle Reef Manta Rays at Manta Point, encounter giant Oceanic Sunfish (Mola Mola) at Crystal Bay, and glide over coral drift slopes guided by experienced dive guides.
Separated from mainland Bali by the deep waters of the Badung Strait, the trio of islands—Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan—represents Bali's island diving destination. Nusa Penida, the largest island, contains an array of dive sites renowned for healthy coral topographies, drift currents, and mega-fauna encounters.
Rich ocean currents and nutrient-packed thermoclines rising from the deep trench (ranging from 17–20°C / 62–68°F) clear away particles, nourish the reef, and maintain water visibility reaching up to 15–30 meters. This unique marine sanctuary is popular for swimming with resident Reef Manta Rays year-round and encountering the giant Oceanic Sunfish (Mola Mola) during the season between July and October.
Nestled beneath the limestone cliffs of Nusa Penida's southern coast, Manta Point features a submerged cleaning station. Watch Reef Manta Rays (with wingspans up to 4–5 meters) hover peacefully in shallow waters while cleaner wrasses groom them.
During the cool water season (July to October), cold upwellings carry the prehistoric-looking Mola Mola up to shallower cleaning stations at Crystal Bay, Toya Pakeh, and Gamat Bay, creating memorable diving encounters.
From giant Manta cleaning stations to clear sunfish bays and coral drift reefs, discover the best of the Nusa islands.
